Once upon a time, I had a blog. I was not very faithful, and finally just gave up altogether. I had so many excuses - I'm too busy, I haven't blogged in so long I don't know where to start, no one reads my blog anyway, no one cares what I have to say, I have nothing interesting to say, what if I offend someone . . . the list was endless. All ways of not admitting to myself that I am afraid I'll fail at this writing thing.
So, since I am a firm believer in second, third, however many chances it takes, I begin again. This time, I will write what I feel, what I think, what I wonder about, what I don't understand, what makes me angry or sad. If my words cause discomfort, maybe you will examine why. If you disagree with me, I'm okay with that if you are. We can still be friends.
Life is so complex - the older I get, the more I realize that I know so very little about so very many things. But I want to learn, I want to grow, I want to continue to expand my understanding of all of God's creation. I'd love for you to join me on the journey, to comment, share your thoughts, challenge me with a different point of view.
